Concerning the power source, one AA battery and the brightness of this product I didn't think it would last long. I was not only surprised when i compared it to the full sized 4 D cell maglites but very impressed as well. There is NO dark or black area where the light hits and when you focus the beam it can reach an impressive distance for such a little guy. I highly recommend this flashlight, it has a tail button for easy use.
